REVIEW ➞ Wicked Liars by Laura Lee

Every last one of them.

The kings and queens of my new high school.

The father and stepmother I never knew.

Each has more wealth and privilege than I could’ve ever imagined.

Each has a pile of wicked dirty secrets they’d do anything to protect.

These people have grown accustomed to getting what they want and what they want is to make my life a living hell.

Too bad for them, you can’t break someone who’s already broken.

Too bad for them, I won’t give up without a fight.

Too bad for them, I’m going to make them pay…even if it’s the last thing I do.

*Wicked Liars is the first book in the Windsor Academy series. This is a dark high school non-reverse harem bully romance that may contain triggers for sensitive readers. Due to mature subject matter, it is recommended for readers 18+ only.

I assumed she’d be some meek, broken little girl who’d fall in line without question. Instead, she’s this fierce, stunning creature, who seems far too observant for my liking.

Lies, Secrets, Mystery, Suspense, Romance. Wicked Liars had me hooked from the prologue. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down and completely devoured this book!

Jazz is thrust into a life she never wanted and away from the only family she has ever known. Kingston is one of the Kings of Windsor Academy and the moment he lays eyes on her all bets are off. What he doesn’t expect is for Jazz to fight back and push all his buttons.

There is an instant connection between Jazz and Kingston, even though they both fight each other. Kingston is a bully, but he also has his reasons for wanting to push Jazz away. However, there are times were a different side of Kingston comes through and it’s a side that not many people get to see.

I loved that there is tons of suspense and mystery mixed into this story. That kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time and I found myself constantly trying to guess where things were going to and what was going to happen next.

This is book 1 of 3, so it does end on a pretty big cliffhanger.

If you’re looking for a dark, bully romance this is one to check out.
