REVIEW ➞ Love Unexpected by Q.B. Tyler

BLURB ➞

I’d only wanted one kiss.

One kiss, under the dark of night, in a city where no one knew us.

One kiss fueled by my hormones and alcohol and the blinding grief over losing my mother.

One kiss from the man I told myself was untouchable.

But, it didn’t stop at one kiss.

And now we are running full speed down a road with no intention of stopping.

His touch disarms me.
His kiss revives me.
But, our love, could destroy me.

Steam. Emotion. Taboo. If you’re looking for that then this is going to be a book you want to read. The moment I started this book I was captivated. I fell in love with these characters and the journey they went on throughout the course of this book.

Stassia is a senior in high school when tragedy strikes and her life changes forever. She has so many insecurities and anyone in her situation would probably feel the same. She experiences real struggles and emotions and as a character it is easy to connect with her. Dominic had also experienced more tragedy than someone should in his life. The two of them still have each other, they can grieve together, however, things shift. Emotions come to the surface that were suppressed. There is so much love and admiration between Stassia and Dominic.

Yes, this book is STEAMY! Seriously, you’ll need to read this with your freezer door open it is that hot. But there is also so much more to this besides the physical connection. The way these two heal each other, love each other and fight for each other is beautiful.

Love Unexpected isn’t for everyone, this is on you’ll want to go into with an open mind, but it is 100% worth it. It is a MUST READ!
